“Environmental Communication Challenge to Promote Sustainable Development in Digital Age”

Background

The rapid growth of digital technology has unveiled new opportunities and unique challenges in our efforts to maintain the ecological balance of our planet. Amidst climate change and deepening environmental concerns, communication is pivotal in shaping perceptions, motivating action, and coordinating global efforts toward sustainable development.

In this evolving digital era, we witness the emergence of new trends and innovations in conveying environmental messages. From social media to imaging technologies, communication has become a driving force in building awareness of environmental issues and inspiring positive behavioral changes.

However, behind its positive potential, we also face serious challenges in effectively delivering environmental messages. The abundance of information in the digital age often leads to confusion or misinformation, and sometimes, communication efforts fall short of capturing the urgency and complexity of environmental issues.

Therefore, this Conference is convened to explore and discuss the “Environmental Communication Challenge to Promote Sustainable Development in the Digital Age.” In this gathering, stakeholders, environmental experts, communication practitioners, and technology innovators will identify optimal solutions, share insights, and devise innovative communication strategies. Thus, we aim to overcome communication barriers and mobilize the global community to take action in support of sustainable development and the preservation of our planet’s sustainability.
